“As a part of the Expert Talk series, Dr. R. Thamaraiselvi, Corporate Human Resource Trainer, and Mrs. Beatrice Kishanthni Daniel, Tax Manager, Warren Tax Compliance SDN BHD expressed their views on the topic ‘Global Mind-set’ on 21.12.2022.

The first speaker Dr. R. Thamaraiselvi has 25 years of experience comprising of teaching Management in various B-Schools and as a Freelance Corporate Human Resource Trainer in manufacturing and service organizations. She started with a mind exercise stating a quote ‘mind is everything whatever you think you become’ and highlighted developing a global mindset. She insisted on 3 key elements intellectual, psychological, and social capital, and made the session more interesting by storytelling which inspired the students a lot.

The second speaker Mrs. Beatrice Kishanthni Daniel has 32 years of expertise in taxation. She worked with reputed organizations like Practical Taxation Services SDN BHD, Coopers & Lybrand Taxation Services SDN BHD, KPMG taxation services SDN BHD, Naza Motor Trading SDN BHD, Cosmic Technologies (P) Ltd, USA, Taxand Malaysia, Technip Geo production, and Peterchonng tax services. She has been a part-time lecturer, and tax advisor, and has authored 3 books on taxation. She is an active member of The Association of International Accountants (certified company auditor, UK), The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Accountants, and the Chartered Institute of taxation. She highlighted office management in a global setup, the importance of interpersonal skills, and how to consider communication as the key to a global workforce environment.
